The history of Titgemeyer Tools & Automation began on August 1, 1994 on 25 m² in Albrechtice, Czech Republic. Antonin Solfronk, who is still Managing Director today, founded the company under the name Rivetec. At that time, Rivetec employed three people and initially specialized in the manufacture of spare parts for riveting tools of various brands. Just four years later, the first own riveting tools were produced and sold under the brand name “MS Werkzeuge”. The company has been part of the Titgemeyer Group since 2000.
10 years after its foundation, Rivetec invents and develops a force-displacement-controlled system for process monitoring for riveting tools - which was to become a milestone in process
monitoring in critical production processes with riveting applications under the brand name “TIOS® Control”. The first orders in the field of automation were also acquired at that time and successfully implemented with a high level of expertise. In 2015, the company moves into new premises in Pisek and works on a production area of 3000 m² with over 90 employees. In 2019, Rivetec is renamed Titgemeyer Tools & Automation. In addition, the company's sales activities were outsourced in order to concentrate fully on its core competencies: the development and production of high-quality, hydraulically-pneumatically and hydraulically driven riveting tools, as well as pumps with electro-hydraulic drives. The company's range of services also includes customized, automated systems and production lines. “Titgemeyer Tools & Automation has worked for a wide variety of industries over the past thirty years. Our customers come from the automotive, mechanical engineering and industrial sectors, for example,” says Managing Director Antonin Solfronk. “Technical expertise, innovation and customer proximity are firmly anchored in our DNA.”
